The LinkLane app
LinkLane processes the links you open only on your Mac to decide which browser and profile should open them. Your rules, settings and the link history (up to 10,000 entries with the full URL, time, target and detected source app) are stored locally on your Mac and never leave it. LinkLane makes no network connections of its own. To detect the source app, LinkLane locally reads the identity of the app that handed over a link. If you grant access to a browser's profile folder, LinkLane reads only the profile names from it. Exported settings files are saved where you choose. You can delete individual history entries or the whole history at any time in the app.
Links are handed to the browser you configured; from then on, that browser's privacy policy applies.
LinkLane Helper
The optional helper runs locally, receives links only from LinkLane, opens them in the chosen browser profile and stores no data. It makes no network connections.
Mac App Store
When you download or buy LinkLane, Apple processes the necessary data under its own responsibility. We only receive anonymous, aggregated statistics from Apple, if any. See Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
